From Farm to Mobile Market
We didn’t start out as farmers but we’ve always believed that, if possible, mobile markets should be rooted in the land. In early 2025, that belief led us to Tomorrow’s Homestead in Gilbertsville, PA.
A vision of a collaborative growing space for small-scale agriculture came to fruition and today, The Best Route is proud to be headquartered at Tomorrow’s Homestead, where we cultivate our own quarter-acre plot alongside six other emerging growers.
This hands-on connection to the soil ensures that the produce on our mobile market is as fresh, local, and community-driven as it gets.
The Farm
This isn't just a farm; it’s a shared growing space. We work side-by-side with fellow farmers—learning, collaborating, and experimenting with regenerative practices on shared land. This unique partnership allows us to:
Grow with Integrity: We produce our own seasonal crops with a "boots-on-the-ground" understanding of the local soil.
Collaborate: By working alongside other small-scale growers, we can aggregate a diverse variety of the area’s best produce.
Equitable Food Access: We believe the local, fresh produce should be available to everyone. By growing our own food and partnering with our neighbors, we ensure that our Mobile Market carries the highest quality foods.

The Market
My Mobile Market is more than a grocery stop; it’s a dignified, reliable link to the local food system. We provide physical and economic access to high-quality, seasonal food for everyone in our community, ensuring that healthy eating is never out of reach.
Powered by Community Collaboration
Our work is made possible through deep local partnerships. We are proud collaborators with Trellis for Tomorrow, The Food Trust, the Pottstown Area Food Collaborative, and the Montgomery County Food Policy Council.
Special thanks to the PA Department of Community and Economic Development’s Healthy Food Financing Initiative and PA Ag Innovation for their vital grant support.
Economic Dignity & Inclusion
We believe everyone deserves fresh food, regardless of their budget. Unlike limited charitable programs, our market provides a high-quality shopping experience for the entire community.
All Payments Accepted: We proudly accept cash, card, SNAP/EBT, and Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) checks.
Stretch Your Dollars: To support food security, SNAP users receive discounts or matching dollars to use toward future purchases.
How We Bridge the Gap
Vertically Integrated: We manage the entire journey—from growing our own produce at Tomorrow’s Homestead to sourcing from local partners and providing healthy recipes for your table.
Reliable & Consistent: We offer a dependable schedule of fresh and prepared foods. Shop in person at the mobile market or preorder online for easy farm pickup.
Geographically Accessible: We travel so you don’t have to. We bring the market to lower-access areas throughout Southeastern PA.
